Fall Comes to Staten Island

It has been an unusually warm fall so far, but it has started to cool off a bit, and the autumn colors are just starting to show themselves.

  1. That was indeed a beautiful display of autumnal splendor! Mark I have this notion that Staten Island would be built up. Sure looks very serene there. Going to have to become better-informed before I’m over in NYC next July/August.

  2. Just lovely! Spring is my favourite season, but Autumn is a very close second. I’m jealous of all the gorgeous colours around you. We don’t have many trees that get those autumn colours around here.

    • Autumn is my favorite – followed in order by Spring, Winter and then Summer. I was hoping that the colors would be more advanced by now – but since it has been unusually warm … not so much. Will go back next week to see how it goes.
