Looking at life through the lens

Shipyard – Revisited

Hurricane Sandy hit Staten Island pretty hard and I recently visited the abandoned shipyard that we looked at previously. There was very little that had changed as we see in these photos.

Glad you revisited this, Mark… I just love all the character in these photos. Oh if old ships could talk… the stories we would hear … of journeys into misty ports … some far away, some near .. of how their once strong mighty steel …. cut wakes into the sea …. Oh if old ships could tell us all…. how their life Use to be. Carrie Joyce 2013
