Great shots, I especially like the first one as it really conveys the busyness of the scene for me. Makes me want to visit there someday!

i really love everything about the nikon D3100 except for the fact that it has interchangeable lenses. i know that more professional photographers like the interchangeable lenses, but i’m “not ready” to get a camera that doesn’t have a built in zoom for very far away objects. is there any cameras that are similar to the D3100 in picture quality, depth of field, video capabilities, etc, but not interchangeable lenses? thanks so much!

    • Each type of camera has its strong points. A DSLR’s is (among other things) the ability to change lenses to match your needs.

Many point and shoot cameras do have long zoom capabilities – you just need to do a little research – they are out there.
